What can the Division of Consumer Protection do for me?
Consumer Protection stops deceptive and fraudulent business practices by reviewing complaints and conducting investigations, educating consumers and businesses about the statutes regulated by the division, and licensing or registering regulated entities. The Division can take administrative action against companies that have violated the law, however, the Division cannot act as your private attorney.
